About FilmForge

Core Idea

FilmForge is a distribution (or profile) of the Free/Libre Open Source Softare content management system Drupal, tailored to the needs of videomaking communities. FilmForge makes it simple to install and run your own video sharing site.

FilmForge should have a publicly viewable beta version by July 1 2007. You will be able to see a test 'clean' install at http://filmforge.koumbit.net.

At the moment there is also a running list of To Do items here: http://wiki.koumbit.net/FilmForge/ToDo.

Finally, we are developing the drupal installation profile here: http://wiki.koumbit.net/FilmForge/DrupalProfile
